Recommended Homeschool Supplies & Resources

I’m often asked for recommendations for homeschool supplies and resources. This page contains affiliate links. If you follow the links on this page, I earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you.) Any product opinions shared here are completely my own. I really appreciate your support of my blog!

  1. Swingline ProClick Binding Machine – I use this to create planners, journals, and activity books.
  2. Colorful Tassels – I use them for making bookmarks!
  3. Plastic Bookmark Covers – perfect for standard 2×6 bookmarks, with a hole punched for ribbon or tassel
  4. Tempera paint
  5. White cardstock
  6. Construction paper
  7. Smock to protect clothing
  8. Paint tray palette
  9. Craft tray
  10. Laminator – pretty much a homeschool staple 😉
  11. Hook and Loop Adhesive Dots – these are great for putting together busy books or many other things
  12. Sticky Magnets – great to add to laminated activities, for use on a magnetic board
  13. 3-Ring Pencil Pouch – obviously great for pencils, but I also use them to store cards and manipulatives
  14. Arc paper punch – an alternative to the ProClick, this is what you’ll need if you want to disc bind anything
  15. Paper Trimmer – I use my paper trimmer all the time! I have the portable version of this one.
  16. Label Maker – I LOVE this thing and use it all over the house!
  17. HP Instant Ink – this is how I get ink to print everything. Use my link to try it and we both get a free month!
  18. Essentials Bullet Journal – this was my first bullet journal, and a much better deal compared to the Leuchturm1917
  19. Bullet Journal – this is the bullet journal I’m using this year. I just love the color! It is thicker than the Essentials one.
  20. Loose Binder Rings – these are super handy! Just on example, you can hole punch a stack of index cards, and use a ring to hold them together.
  21. Heavy Duty 3-Ring Binder – you might find a better deal in an office supply store or at Target.
  22. Magnetic Slant Board – this is one of my favorite resources. It’s magnetic, has a clip for papers, provides a more ergonomic position for writing, and can be used with dry erase markers!
  23. Magnetic Dry Erase Markers – these are handy little dry erase markers.
  24. Write & Wipe Pockets
  25. Foam Dice – these are handy, especially for kids who are sensitive to the sound of regular dice
